Earn points toward new adventures and experiences

As a Color Club member, you’ll collect valuable bonus points every time you book a trip with us.

How to earn bonus points

  • Provide your membership number when booking your trip.
  • Travelling with other members? Remember to add all membership numbers to the booking so that everyone receives their benefits.
  • All members earn points for the boat trip itself (excluding free trips or trips fully or partially paid with points).
  • If you're travelling with a car, you’ll also earn points for the vehicle (only the member registered as the driver).
  • If your trip includes overnight stays on land, you’ll also earn points for the accommodation (only the member who booked the trip).

When can I see the points?
Once the trip is completed, you can see your updated points balance on "My Page." If you wish to register missing points, fill out this form.

How to use your bonus points

Here is what you can spend them on:

  • Full or partial payment for most ferry trips and hotel packages
  • Meals and other onboard extras such as Show Lounge reservations, sightseeing, and more*
  • Seat reservations on the Superspeed lines*
  • Cabin upgrades*

How to pay with points:Log in with your email address and password when booking. At checkout, simply select whether you want to pay in full or partially with points.

Terms and Conditions:

Points must be redeemed within two years of the collection date. Points cannot be exchanged for cash. If you cancel or do not renew your membership, any collected points will be forfeited.

*The option to pay with bonus points only applies to new bookings, not to changes to existing ones. You can still change or add onboard products after booking, but points cannot be used as payment.

How many bonus points can I earn?

Only the member who makes the booking will receive points for the car trip (registered driver) and the hotel package (lead traveler)!

Kiel-Oslo (ferry crossing, cruise to Oslo with or without hotel)

100 points per leg. For a round-trip, you will receive 200 bonus points.
200 bonus points per car per leg. For a round-trip, you will receive 400 bonus points.
100 bonus points when you purchase a hotel package through us.

Hirtshals-Kristiansand/Hirtshals-Larvik

30 bonus points per leg. 60 bonus points for a round-trip.
60 bonus points per car per leg. 120 bonus points for a round-trip.
100 bonus points when you purchase a hotel package through us.

Sandefjord – Stromstad

20 bonus points per leg. 40 bonus points for a round trip.
20 bonus points per car per leg. 40 bonus points for a round trip.
100 bonus points when you purchase a hotel package through us.

Examples of how points are distributed:

Cruise Kiel-Oslo 2 member + car and hotel

Member 1 (person who books) = 700 points
200 (2x100) points for outbound/inbound for the ship
400 (2x200) points for outbound/inbound for the car
100 points flat for the hotel

Member 2 (travel companion) = 200 points
200 (2x100) points for outbound/inbound for the ship

Outbound and inbound trips on the routes Larvik/Kristiansand – Hirtshals. 1 member + car

Member 1 = 180 Points
60 (2x30) points for outbound/inbound for the ship
120 (2x60) points for outbound/inbound for the car

Frequently asked questions

How can I check my points balance?

You can check how many bonus points you have by logging into "My Page" with your email address and password.

Value per bonus points

1 bonus point = approx. 0,125 Euro (1 NOK). Bonus points cannot be sold or cashed out.

Subsequent crediting of points

If you forgot to log in as a Color Club member when making your booking and therefore did not receive any points, you can have this corrected after completing your trip here.

Re-bookings

Payment with bonus points is only possible for new bookings, not for changes to existing bookings.

New points for payment with points:

For trips paid fully or partially with bonus points and/or vouchers, no bonus points will be credited to the member(s) traveling on the relevant booking.

The following products cannot be paid for with bonus points:

- Trips or travel vouchers with a promotional code (discount code)
- Costs incurred when changing or upgrading a trip
- The annual membership fee
- Deposits for trips
- Booking fee
- Partial payment for a group trip
- Payment of the individual contribution for a group booked through the group department
- Additional services on land

Expiration Date:

The bonus points accumulated per trip can be used within 2 years from the start of the journey; after that, they will expire.

Points Calculation:

Color Line reserves the right to make changes to the bonus points calculation.
