    Cruise on the Hardangerfjord

On a holiday at the Hardangerfjord you get very close to the contrasting nature. Go on a fjord cruise and leave the controls to the captain. The excursion boat glides slowly through the spectacular landscape while Norwegian nature stimulates all the senses. On the way, the ship docks in small, idyllic villages where red wooden houses break up the green-blue landscape.

  • Summer skiing on the glacier

At 212 square kilometers, the Folgefonn Glacier is Norway's third largest glacier. Just 2.5 kilometers from Bergen, the Folgefonn summer ski center offers an entertaining and varied experience in the summer heat. Strap your skis or snowboard under your feet and enjoy a refreshing ski ride under the sun's rays.

  • Cycling hardangervidda.jpg

    Hardangervidda National Park

Hardangervidda National Park offers cycling for all levels, from easy family-friendly routes to steep downhill tracks. Trails take you through wide mountain landscapes, forest lakes and open plateau terrain, home to Norway’s largest population of wild reindeer. In Geilo, you can rent bikes and find maps showing routes and difficulty.

Cycling is just one way to experience Hardangervidda. The national park also offers hiking, fishing in clear mountain waters, and even bungee jumping – making it a destination for both adventure seekers and nature lovers.
