The ski area in Vrådal

Vrådal

Ski info

Vrådal ski resort offers a picturesque setting with mountains and Lake Nisser. It has 15 slopes and 5 lifts suitable for beginners to advanced skiers. Family-friendly, it also offers activities such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and a ski school. Ideal for winter sports lovers.

Nearly no queueing at the lifts

Vrådal has the world's first and Norway's largest 8-seat express chairlift. Fast, efficient and with almost no queues. As you know, no waiting time means more time on the slopes. The slopes have different levels of difficulty and there are fast runs for the whole family - however, most of the slopes are not so steep and wide and many of them end in the children's area where the whole family can meet after the ride.

Ski school in Vrådal

At the foot of the hills you find the children's area Troll-Land with the Vrådal Ski School. Here you will find a carpet lift, a platter lift, fun play figures and a warming hut. Everything is at child level, so the children can sled and ski in safe conditions. On a ski holiday in Vrådal, all children can borrow helmets free of charge and children under 7 can use the lifts free of charge.

Cross-country skiing in beautiful surroundings

If you are looking for cross-country skiing, Vrådal offers both mountain-side trails and trails that meander through the quiet forests and beautiful Telemark nature. Most accommodation is located close to the cross-country trails, so you can quickly get snow under your skis.
