White slopes and snow as far as the eye can see - that is the dream of every winter holidaymaker! Especially for skiing, snow-covered slopes and pistes ensure the longed-for holiday happiness and the best winter sports conditions. Compared to other European ski areas, Norway is considered to be particularly snow-sure, which is why Color Line gives you a ski guarantee for your winter trip. So that nothing stands in the way of the perfect snow and ski holiday, please note the following conditions relating to the ski guarantee.
This is how the ski guarantee works
The ski guarantee comes into effect 48 hours before departure from Germany. In order to make use of this, guests must inform themselves in advance about the snow conditions at the chosen destination - for example via skiinfo.no
If the ski guarantee is not fulfilled, you are obliged to:
- Contact Color Line within 48 hours
- AND contact Color Line within the opening hours of the customer service center.
The period covered by the ski guarantee may vary from destination to destination. The individual periods can be found here under the selected travel destination.
*If it can be assumed that the ski guarantee of a destination cannot be fulfilled, Color Line will - as far as possible - offer a stay in another destination. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a comparable crossing, accommodation or location in the ski area, but we will of course endeavour to find the best alternative for you. When choosing a more expensive trip, travelers pay the difference. Of course, Color Line will also refund the difference if a cheaper trip is chosen. If no suitable alternative can be found, the traveler will be refunded the amount paid.
Excluded from the ski guarantee are services purchased independently by the travelers on site, such as lift passes, ski school, ski rental, etc. - please contact the relevant destination for this.
The ski guarantee applies to all ski areas.
The ski guarantee does not include:
- Sudden technical problems in the ski area
- Changes in weather at or near the ski resort – storms, ice storms, etc. that occurred 48-0 hours before/during departure or during the stay itself.
Color Line assumes no liability for the quality of the snow, the condition and degree of difficulty of the slopes, or their length and location.
Cross-country skiing: A number of destinations offer a ski guarantee for both alpine downhill and cross-country skiing, with the same conditions for triggering the guarantee.
