Checklist for your ski holiday
Order ski pass
You can pre-order or buy a ski pass for several ski areas from home or top up the ski pass from your last ski holiday. It is sometimes possible to get a discount if you buy and pay for a lift ticket in advance. Visit each destination's website to be fully prepared.
Book ski school
Book the ski school from home - then you are guaranteed a place in the team and you don't have to spend any time on site. We recommend that beginners invest in ski school lessons. You'll get more out of your ski vacation by learning to ski properly.
Remember to bring the following things with you:
• Snow chains or spikes for your car
• Safety vests
• Norwegian road map
• Small change for toll roads (can also be paid by credit card in most places)
• Keycards (can often be reused from the last ski holiday)
Kitchen equipment
The kitchens of the accommodations are equipped with the most common things. However, if you wish to use very specific utensils - such as an ovenproof dish, whisk, baking pan or waffle maker, etc. - then bring them with you or check with the resort in advance if the desired facility is available on site.
At your arrival
Before you move into your holiday accommodation: Check that everything is in good condition, including that it has been properly cleaned. Notify reception or the owner immediately if this is not the case or if you find anything not as advertised. If you do not report this immediately upon arrival, it is likely that you will no longer have the opportunity to complain afterwards or to compensate for the deficiencies.
