Opportunities in Trysil are clustered around a mountain and it's rarely far from your accommodation to experiences that range from the blackest of slopes to sheltered children's hills that get flatter at the bottom.
In Trysil you can choose from a variety of accommodation options. What they all have in common is that you live in the middle of a winter wonderland, in some places even with ski-in/ski-out, where the slopes are right outside the door.

In addition, it is worth noting that Larvik is only 340 km away. And with the opening of the new E-18 motorway section from Larvik to Trysil, things are even closer, in terms of transport time, of course.
Trysil is Norway's largest ski resort and has been voted best ski resort several times! On the one hand, this is because many of the best pistes for alpine skiing are located here - and on the other hand, because a Trysil trail map generally gives you a wide range of runs to choose from. With 68 slopes, 31 lifts, 420 snow cannons, there is enough snow and entertainment for everyone.

In Trysil you can meet the snowman Valle, who is a master at entertaining the little ones - and notoriously for hours at a time. Valle's winter week takes place in calendar weeks 2-5 and calendar week 15.
Then Valle offers a free ski school, ski rental and a SkiPass for children up to and including 6 years. The number of places in Trysil is limited, first come, first served. Contact customer service, call us or send an email to get the discount code to use when ordering on the Skistar website.
To take advantage of the offer, you need to book accommodation in Trysil and at least an adult SkiPass valid for at least 4 days. Only one group ski school and/or ski rental reservation per person. All orders must be made on the same booking number. The offer is valid until October 30, 2023.
