The west side, also called the sunny side, of Kvitfjell has been greatly developed in recent years and appears today as a superb terrain for children, beginners and intermediates with, among other things, a screened children's area and a terrain park that contains significant challenges and requires a certain amount of experience.
The west side is a popular area for families with children. The largest children's area is located here together with catering facilities, ski rental and ski school.
On this side, there are both green and red runs, this makes it desirable for families with children.
The east side is for the more demanding skiers with courage for Olympic challenges, off-piste and descents that are suited for adults and teenagers.
The east side is located on the same side as Gudbrandsgard Hotell and has fine slopes for the slightly tougher skiers.
The east side has a good selection of restaurants and après ski. Here you will also find a small grocery store called Børson.
Here you can also drive all the way down to the target area. (This is the same track that is used for the world cup in Ufor and SuperG every year.)
